Dear friends and clients of East Carolina Veterinary Service,
I am writing to you about exciting changes at the practice. I am retiring and moving onto a new phase of my life. First and foremost, I want to thank you for allowing me to care for your furry family. I am grateful for you allowing me to guide you through tough medical problems, and, for many, the passing of loved ones. It is bittersweet to know my doctor, client, and patient relationship will come to the end with you. Thank you for this privilege of being your doctor.
I started this practice in 1989 and I am passing it on to the Godfreys, a wonderful veterinary family, to continue the future growth of ECVS. It was of the utmost importance to me to find independent veterinarians, not a corporation to take the practice into the next phase of continued top notch veterinary care. Please read the following to learn more about the Godfreys.
Dr. Fernanda Godfrey is a native of Brazil, where she earned her veterinary degree from University of Brasilia. After moving to the US, she completed her large animal internal medicine residency, and obtained her Master’s Degree from Auburn University, AL. Dr. Godfrey was working as a small animal general practitioner, and emergency relief doctor in KY, prior to recently moving to Greenville, NC. Her areas of interest are internal medicine, cardiology, and diagnostic imaging, specifically ultrasound.
Dr. Patrick Godfrey, DVM
Dr. Patrick Godfrey is from Danville, KY. He attended Western Kentucky University for his undergraduate degree, where he received a BS in Biology and Chemistry. The Godfreys are a hard-working and kind family that bring so much to the Greenville community. Please stop by to meet them in person.
Sincerely,
